I had two of them and the lights do not work on either of them - and even if they did, there appears to only be one LED in the top light, not three (one for each light). Also, keep in mind that this is USB 1.0 which means slower speeds. So if you want it to charge your cellphone, it should be ok - but if you want to use it to transfer a lot of stuff to and from a flash drive, not so much.
The packaging it comes in says it is a 4 port, USB 2.0 hub. This should give you some idea about how messed up everything is. I knew of course that it only had 3 ports when I ordered it, however, so I didn't mind too much.
In short - I had to return both of them because the lights did not work....

-The traffic light aspect of the hub isn't so great. When it is plugged in there is no way to turn the lights off. The lights are also not in the right spots and when turned on the yellow light looks red to me.
-The USB ports on the back can power everything without an AC adapter (doesn't come with one either). I can charge my phone, plug in my wireless mouse transceiver and my webcam and they all work flawless.
-The material quality is decent. Its not the flimsy plastic you get on some devices and its not the super strong plastic you see on some phones. So far it hasn't broken. Also if you have three things plugged in at once it can get off balance and fall over, so it is pretty light weight too....

They are set up as red at the top, green in the middle, and yellow at the bottom, which is not the order of a standard traffic light. All three lights are on all the time. There is no way to turn them off, or to have one light on by itself. If you want something to emulate a traffic light (for example to indicate to colleagues when it is safe to enter your cubicle) then this product will not help!...
