I chose this hub to work with an older laptop that only has one USB port (!) which makes it very difficult to operate with a digital camera, iPod, thumbdrive etc. Though I love the design of this hub for its aesthetic value, I also love it for the functionality of not having to assemble all those cables and products in a line order to use the hub. Fast and compact, this device is great for travel and easily slips into a pocket on my laptop case. The retractable cord is a great feature especially for on the go computing because it helps make a more compact workspace possible....

I really enjoy this little spaceship-style hub. I have another stick-style hub like this one: Connectland CL-U2MNHUB-4B 4 Ports USB V2.0 Mini Hub (Black) and figured I could use another one for my monitor USB cable. We certainly end up with tons of USB products these days. It's lightweight, fairly small (although a little bigger than the stick one), and it can sit on my desk. The ports are upward at an angle which is more comfortable than my stick USB. You can press downward (albeit at an angle) which I really prefer that to the stick. The cord retracts, but I wish it were longer. This short length is good for those with little children and those who have no wish for the extra weight of a long cord. The retraction isn't zippy fast, but a little help and it goes in great. It actually plugs into the side of my monitor and hangs down with the cord shortened all the way. So it takes up very little space....

This hub has a retractable 10" cord and 4 USB ports. Works well with a laptop and for when you need to plug in your peripherals. It's nice and it's and ergonomic. Does a fine job. Looks to be solidly built and I expect it to last a long time. The connections are firm and the plugs stay put. Nifty little item!!!...
