But does not work with scanners, external drive etc. It has an adapter hole for a power adapter, but even Belkin doesn't sell it. I had no luck locating one on the web....

However, I constantly get an overload condition with just the mouse and my keyboard. Unfortunately I can't recommend this product....

Why I ask myself, there is no power supply. It plugs into the computer. All it is, is a slot. Within 3 months it completely became useless. No matter what you plugged into it. And here is the kicker, I did not apply a heavy use with it only my keyboard.
Save your money, and research a better product. I am totally disappointed....
