This review is from: High Speed 4-Port USB 2.0 \"Octopus\" Splitter HubThis USB octopus is a great accessory for my Windows7 computer.
I operated the octopus with all four terminals loaded simultaneously using a Bluetooth dongle, a USB Broadband dongle, an HTC Trophy (charging), and a USB flash drive. No problems.
I tested the USB flash drive in this configuration for comparison with results I got a while ago with the flash drive plugged directly into the computer. I got a pretty negligible decrease in performance:
Plugged directly into the computer:
Writing speed: 9.67 MByte/s
Reading speed: 26.9 MByte/s
Plugged into the "busy" octopus:
Writing speed: 8.52 MByte/s
Reading speed: 23.2 MByte/s
The computer didn't hiccup a bit. Readyboost still worked fine.
I also operated an external hard drive through the octopus with one other terminal supporting the USB Broadband dongle. No problems.

Update September 13, 2011:
I was so impressed with the octopus that I immediately ordered a second one. Now I can leave one at home and have another in my laptop bag. I wish I could give the octopus more stars!
