Didn't use it for awhile and when I plugged it in it bombed my printer software, my wireless mouse, my web cam, and my internet connection. All software had to be uninstalled and reinstalled. After that, everything is working well again. Be careful how you plug and unplug things into this port. Very handy gadget to have and real inexpensive....
