Its sleek glossy black plastic with chrome accents look sleek and stylish.
The top port is perfect for a USB flash thumb drive, which I use as ReadyBoost for my netbook HT-PC.
It's also very compact, roughly about 2 1/4" wide by 2 1/2" long and 1/2" thick, and very light, and it has 4 small rubber stoppers to help keep it from sliding around.
And at just a little more than a "Hamilton," it is uber-cheap, so you really have nothing to lose.
Nothing is perfect in life, and everyone gets a lemon product sometimes, no matter what it is, so don't let a product at this price make you think twice about getting it or not.

The price was good and the features seemed to be just what I needed, so I ordered. I am very glad I did. This USB hub is the perfect design for me! I have been able to use it with all the ports in use PLUS the second one on my computer with NO PROBLEM! No power source needed at all! I highly recommend for those who have multiple odd shaped devices to plug in at one time....
This review is from: Medialink - 4-Port High Speed USB 2.0 Mini Hubgood unit for thumb drives and wireless mice and such, but portable hdd like wd passport will not work because they require a powered hub. this has the capability, but did not include the power adapter. so a lot of the convenience for my situation is disrupted. i dont like getting under my desk and behind my pc to plug in a portable hd....
