One possible improvement would be to allow data functionality on the top port as this would be a convenient platform to slip my thumbdrive into. My own fault for not reading the description more carefully when I bought it. Still good, though....
This review is from: USB Desk Stand with 1 Port USB 2.0 HubI bought this because it appeared heavy and looked like a good hub for a USB wireless adapter with a small antenna. It works as a single USB port and its sturdy, but with the data port being the horizontal one, it didn't work any better than the hubs I already had. If the top port had been for data I know it would have been ideal for my use.
Lesson learned: enlarge the photo and read the description carefully before buying a product....
