This review is from: Dynex DX-4P2H - Hub - 4 x Hi-Speed USB - desktopSome said this hub quit after a month. I have had mine at least that long and it still works fine. It has been a big help to have more USB ports located at the front of my computer, especially after installing a USB 2.0 card.
Update: After five weeks one of the ports into which and from which I plug and unplug a thumb drive has stopped responding. Other ports in which I leave a card reader, etc. still work. The Device Manager in Windows shows no problem with the port. The manual said static electricity can cause this. I followed the procedure (Disconnect AC power and USB cord. Wait a few seconds. Install AC adapter and then the USB cord.) and it works fine. I also learned I can avoid the static electricity problem if I touch bare metal on my computer tower before reaching for the USB hub....

The top ports never worked and the back ports worked for my keyboard and printer until I tried to plug my camera into a port on the top and then my whole computer crashed. The only way I could get it to reboot was by unplugging the hub. I was never able to get it to work with my computer again without crashing....
