Functionally, this hub seems fine. It comes with a 2.1 amp "wall-wart" switching power supply, which is smaller and more efficient than the linear power supplies that come with some USB hubs. The plug is rotated 90 degrees, which is nice for plugging into an electrical outlet, but annoying for a power strip.
The USB input is of the mini-USB variety, not a standard type B connection. A USB to mini-USB cable is included, which is probably about 6 feet long and of average quality.
The non-skid feet on the bottom of this hub seem to do an adequate job at keeping it in place on a desk. The cord management groove is a nice touch.
I'd give it 5 stars if they just got the color right....

(The iMac has its 3 USB ports on the rear of the display/system unit.) This product was perfect for the purpose. It's easy to use, has a clean, and was very simple to set up....
This review is from: Belkin USB 2.0 Plus Hub (4 Port) F5U304-BRNI was quite pleased with the overall design of this 4 port hub; it has a small footprint, is handsome, and has a firm grip on the cables that feed it. After 8 months, though, the unit began to intermittently cut out it's connection and eventually failed. I never needed the included power unit, so the problem was not due to over-heating, just poor internal construction. Reviews of Belkin hubs vary, and I am sorry to report mine comes down on the side of concluding this to be an unreliable product....
